Felisian Navy Department of AstroCartography to the attention of Rear Admiral Skinnymon Subject Blanco Empty Survey - Mission Briefing ~ PROJECT COREL ~ :: Mission 1 :: MISSION PRESENTATION: The revived activity at the Department of AstroCartography led the community of the StarDrifters to increase their partecipation in facilitating the mapping process of Feltyrion. One of the resources submitted to the Department was represented by a single document with a list of stars in Feltyrion along with their Parsis coordinates. At the time of the compilation of this briefing the list is the largest collection of labels ever generated and the second in terms of Feltyrion volume scanned. During the initial upgrades of the StarMap databanks, the Department noted an unexpected amount of supposed anomalies in the previously cited list, in the form of repeated entries of the same label but located at different coordinates. It has to be noted that the majority of such labels were already known names for a couple of reasons: some were part of Cosmic Resonance Locations, curious zones genrally called 'Grids', while others have the StarDrifter computer showing the same name for stars at different, but strangely related, Parsis coordinates. The document, by the way, appeared suspiciously generous in listing the istances of each of those stars, reaching a disturbing level such as one being repeated 25 times. When the Department asked Chief Science Officer Shadowlord about said list, which was generated by one of his projects, he answered that those stars are entities which have some singularity that causes his program, as well as the StarDrifter's onboard computer, to beieve they exist in different parts of the Galaxy. He also admitted that their algorithms aren't able to regognize which of these location are true and which aren't, and that the decision was to have the program report all of them. A survey over one of those labels' each listed locations was quickily planned and Blanco Empty, in its 15 supposed istances, was chosen. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Survey the 15 locations given and report what is found there. MISSION CREW(S): crew #1: SD Litterbox - Skinnymon, Rear Admiral of the Felisian Navy Stardrifter Fleet. DETAILS: The 15 triplets of Parsis coordinates given are supposed locations of systems. It is asked to the crew to reach each of the sites and report about finding or not a system at the precise coordinates given. Particular care should be posed about the star appearing to be labeled and what the name is. Even greater care is asked about noting if the star is labeled 'BLANCO EMPTY'. TXT module of this list, is appeneded at the end of this briefing document) The mission does not require the crew to follow any precise order of the list and is free to choose the preferred route. There are no particular restrictions, though the StarDrifter is expected to return in short times as the findings are believed to be of great impact in this very moment because of the StarMap databanks upgrades.
